I’m trying my best to main a Warlock in PvP. My second favorite subclass is terrible in crucible. Hunter and Titan Strand subclasses can be extremely fun but playing as a Warlock it’s just too weak. Not asking or speaking of “balancing, just test it more and fix what you see as to be very underwhelming, please.

Yep all I play with now. Hands down the worst super in the game for PvP.
-
Make it like Thundercrash You turn into a giant hatchling, and you guide it to your target, then press a button to set it off
-
You can also add "it has the worst feeling of all supers" Seriously strand warlock deserved something more original than "lol you throw a handfull of threadlings at ennemies"
-
Ya the darts have a mind of there own...aim at boss..nah all at a one singular dreg on the far left....or fails to lock on at all and the threadlings despawn almost immediately or wander off up a wall....
-
I usually run prismatic song of flame for warlock or solar well for support function in PVP. Never ran Broodweaver in pvp before.

What parts do you feel need improvement? And or how would you want it improved? Warlock main here, so just asking to see what you think of it in more details.

Edited by Ferus Lux: 6/13/2025 7:11:11 AMI wish I could hold the aim button as soon as it's cast to tighten the cone spread into a shotgun like reticle with far less seeking range in exchange for a strong and reliable hit rate against anything in front of me. Watching the needles sail past and hit absolutely no one is just embarrassing.

Threadling: 20% increased damage against pve targets, increase blast radius by 1 meter, increase tracking against pve targets. New fragment: (Inset name) dealing damage against strand debuffed targets with a strand weapon spawns threadlings. Needlestorm: Needles prioritize higher tier targets and 20% buff for the needles. The wanderer I'm pretty sure threadlings already create tangles so Idk why this is apart of the perk so instead: Threadlings hits reduce tangle cooldown and final blows provide an even further reduction and the current effect of tangles attatching and detonating into a suspending burst. Weavewalker: Alongside current effects upon exiting you gain a 20% pve strand buff (3% in pvp)

Edited by Spectra: 6/13/2025 11:33:08 AMI like using weavewalk and spam threadlings (if you use the fragment it deals good damage). We have three melees. Combine this with Eye of Another World, it means you always have weavewalk available. Also, use weapons with Surplus.
