Buff scouts rifles

Really tired of getting outgunned using Polaris or Randy's by some player with Crimils Dagger from way outside 30m. Slug shotguns and the last word should be nerfed to the ground also.

      • 120 HC can 3 tap around 40m and they have 1. ttk, if you lose that it's on you, not the weapon.

        • Honestly the biggest issue is that at range, a scout rifle with a scope gets beat by a hand cannon with iron sights. It’s so stupid.

          • I’m a scout rifle main and scouts need more flinch resistance than anything. Other weapons can still shoot accurately under fire and win a duel even if you started to shoot first.

              • The issue is that most maps in destiny pvp are medium/short range maps. 120 hand cannons can easily hit 37 meters and if you go into the range stat you can hit 40 meters. Scouts hit 60-70 average with top range ones hitting around 80 (I believe though rapid scouts go all the way down to 50 so keep that in mind). The issue is that most maps in destiny are like 10-30 meters and even bigger lanes tend to only hit the 40-50 meter range. There's only like 2 spots in pvp where you can consistently hit around 60+ where Scouts would be best.

              • As a player who primarily uses scouts in PvP, I think they are in a good spot. There are enough good options, with good enough damage/perks to be viable on most medium to large maps and even some smaller ones (although not the most ideal). I think one of the main issues, is using a scout, and thinking you are outside of another players effective range (35-40m), and still being challenged and beaten because its hard to land the shots through flinch from a 120. I think you need to learn to cut your losses on the engagement, play your life and reposition (despite there often being only a few good scout lanes on each map). I would say it could be more if a skill issue than a weapon issue. I do feel that most HC ranges are a bit too far for the class of weapon, but thats a different topic, and Im sure it would get a lot of downvotes... but the advantages of a scout is that you can outrange every primary in the game, so in theory you can dominate from your safe space... only, you have to land your shots, and keep your range over 45m to have that bubble to work in. Good players will recognize scout laning, and never use those sightlines, then close the distance and 3 tap you. To be a good scout player, you need to be hyper mobile and reposition constantly to keep them guessing. I tend to play scout somewhat aggressively, in mid ranges, but know enough to disengage when an encounter is not in my favor. That is the most important thing to learn in this game in PvP, how to recognize that you lost the encounter after the first shot fired, and get out with your life.

              • why are you using a scout in hc/ar/pulse range? and you are using scouts with better ttk than base crimil

              • buff them in PvE maybe Nature Reclaimed feels like a pea shooter , haven't touched it since I got a heal/clip Incandescent No Survivors

                • Um, not until they nerf the broken perks! How about nerfing the outliers in the scout rifle family, first? Specifically, nerf Precision Instrument on Rapid-Fire-Frames and nerf Box Breathing on Precision-Frames and Lightweight-Frames. THEN, Bungie might look at buffing Scouts.

Jade rabbit is still amazing, transfiguration is great on big maps. Genuine question have you yourself tried using crimils dagger?
