I find it interesting that slugs have this massive amount of aim assist and range due to it being a precise weapon, but it also does a MASSIVE amount of damage to the body. Making it extremely easy for clean ups and stealing kills. Either it should have high range or high body shot damage, not both.

I agree and I think they’ll hit a nerf when they do the fusion nerf. Rose also needs to not be a lightweight or have its stats reduced as it will always be the best legendary handcannon due to lightweight. And FYI my most PvP kills are handcannon and most kills on a special by far is a shotgun (half of which is probably slugs).

I definitely agree. Slugs have been broken for some time now and it's honestly surprising something hasn't been done to them before. Even though I might cry a little after getting my inquisitor, a nerf to slugs should happen and soon, especially with the tier system coming up in EoF.

i fear they absolutely need the sniper treatment of getting their bodyshot damage completely butchered, they're precision weapons and yet currently are more effective when bodyshot chunking someone for 180 from 15m and then swapping to a primary to cleanup or vice versa than at actually going for headshots

I was able to get a legato that had lonewolf and closing time and with the perks active range and handling is maxed. It just doesn't hold up against the Inquisitor. It just feels outclassed. Someone said it down below that the AA should be slightly increased but i absolutely think the body shot damage needs to be dialed back on slugs. Punish the player for missing the head. Range should be dialed back just a smig as well.

I use slugs so much and I have to agree. It could easy be taken to like 150 ish. That with a normal melee would still clean ppl up. But 140 plus slug up to 9 resil now kills and that’s just to easy, if you ask me give them a little more aim assist. But take down the range like 0.5 mtr and lose the body shot damage make them precision weapons. Now they are more a replacement for the felwinter hc swap erra, while they should be rewarding movement en positioning.
