I have had a bunch of games recently where I feel like im constantly a step behind, and unable to compete... but then I have also had a few where I feel that I am a step ahead. Which is "normal"? Probably somewhere between them. Connection feel has been worse than it had been for a while overall, but I guess that is what comes with the population count that we currently have. When searching for a game, if it takes more than 30s-1m, it basically removes all of the skill requirements from the search criteria. Probably connection requirements as well. Some games can take 3-4 minutes to get a lobby together... Its just the way it is now I guess. I personally would rather wait 5 minutes to get a lobby together of decent connection primarily. I am ok losing if I lose on skill, but I hate the feeling that I cant do basic things like slide, or aim and shoot when I react... It feels like this season more than ever, I often cant slide (having to wait longer after pressing spring and then crouch to actually slide). Using lightning surge, I have had quite a few times where I slide and melee the floor as I slide rather than use my charged slide melee. It is what it is, and I accept it and play, or just play PvE instead. I dont expect it to get better until they change the fundamentals of the matchmaking system, or population grows considerably. I feel that I am either in bot lobbies, or ascendant sweat lobbies. This weekend I hopped into Control just to test out some rolls of Prosecutor, and one game I would go 3-4 efficiency, and the next two I would just break even and feel that I couldnt track anything.
