I redownloaded destiny 2 for the first time since 2022 and all my stuff is gone
As the title says, re downloaded the game because my buddy asked me too, I notice my charter is kinda bland. I look at my items, nothing. I check my vault, completely empty. All my items I grinded for, whisper of the worm, lucky pants, Midas multi tool, escalation protocol shotgun. all gone. like my character is blank. I tried checking everything online, verifying my game files. making sure I didn't log in through somewhere else besides steam. Id like to play again but it's killing the game for me that all my stuff is gone. Any advice or if I can at least get an answer, that would be helpful.

You have less than 5 hours played with 0 hours deleted, and your first activity on your only character on that account was 16/09/2022 - which was 2 years [i]after[/i] Escalation Protocol was removed from the game meaning you can't have had that Shotgun. With that time played, it's extremely unlikely you got the materials and everything to purchase Whisper from the kiosk, and as your first activity was 2022 on that account you wouldn't have been able to complete the mission itself as it was also vaulted in 2020 (then recently re-released last year). Sounds like you either have multiple Steam accounts and you're signing into the wrong one, or you had a Battle.net account back towards the launch of the game that wasn't migrated over by the 2020 deadline.
