Another reason why no one is inviting you after you've shown interest in an LFG post, is likely because they've already found everyone they needed, but they forgot to close their post. I've done this myself plenty of times without realizing it. Put up a post, invite people one by one, and completely forget to close the post once I find everyone I need. Some people also keep their posts open indefinitely, just in case someone leaves early or gets kicked. That way they don't have to create a new post, even if they're likely no longer at the same checkpoint they were at the first time.
