Ikora now sounds nothing like ikora
Accidentally saw a cutscene from edge & they've changed ikoras actor, she now sounds nothing like ikora. Sounds awful imo

I honestly would have preferred that they use a text-to-speech voice during this time, something clearly not a real person but also not "AI" so that there was no confusion this was intended as a placeholder. It would put emphasis on the whole reason for the VAs not being there while also allowing players to not miss dialogue because they couldn't read fast enough or not realize dialogue was playing.

They had to, unless you wanted to read conversations again instead of listening to them All game devs are struggling with this issue, because so many VAs went on strike It's thier own fault for undervaluing them,BG3 wouldn't have been so loved without the excellent enthusiastic voice acting from Human Actors If you want to know what A.I dialogue would sound like, look up Dinklebot on YouTube
