Bungie, if you're gonna give hunters an extra 10 mobility at base, then you need to give titans and extra resilience bump at base, and warlocks an extra bump to class ability at base. Or, just give all classes the same base mobility, health, and class.
Just randomly giving hunters extra stats for no reason is so strange.
I know someone is going to read this and say "BuT hUnTeRs ArE tHe MoBiLiTy ClAsS." And to that i say, but titans are the resilience class, and warlocks are the recovery class. Why do they not get an advantage in their respective identities? And just to be clear, I'm not advocating each class having an advantage at base. I'm advocating just making all the bases of mobility, resilience, and health being the same on all classes.
You can't just level everything out and then just say "let's give hunters the advantage over every other class." Aren't hunters already the most played characters? Doesn't Bungie want to to encourage people to be drawn to all the characters as evenly as possible?
I don't know. I just find it so strange when people play favorites

8 years and people still don’t understand that mobility only slightly affects walking, strafing, and base jump height. 10 extra mobility is not going to give Hunters the edge you think it will.
-
Edited by Ghostfire239: 6/10/2025 7:06:23 PMI like how people are all up in arms about 10 mobility, yet no one had any issue when Bungie gave titans a buff to make their base melee damage higher than other classes back in episode Revenant. Sounds to me like y’all are playing favourites too.
-
It’s not extra stats. The mobility stat no longer exists. They’ll walk something like 0.05% faster. Get over it.
-
Because they need it. I don’t know if you’ve been informed yet, but the upcoming armor changes are going to severely screw hunters play style. Look into Gambler’s Dodge.

Sounds like they should do more of these.

Edited by NotCreative123: 6/11/2025 4:11:21 PMLol, by that logic, why not make all classes have the same supers, abilities, melees at that point? Just consider the +10 Mobility part of the Hunter kit, same way that Titans get bonus melee damage or that Warlocks have access to the arc slide melee. Each Class has abilities and stats that are not available to the others. Deal.

Titan and warlock jumps are such that you need 3 mobility or less to move faster because of the hop. Many good players keep mobility very low because of this. Hunters have no floating jump to make use of this so 10 mobility is the way.
-
Edited by The Hermit IX: 6/10/2025 8:24:55 PMThe one thing I don’t like so far about the changes is why they made mobility so low. I also don’t understand why Hunters have 10 more when all classes receive the same resilience and recovery. It should be 70 for all 3 classes with the option to run the mod to get to 100.
-
I agree, but the game and dev team are full of Hunter mains, so there's basically 0 chance any of them will see reason~
-
I don’t like that Hunters get to use up to 6 fragments slots, as the Warlock gets 4. I hear it’s unfair Titans get intrinsic better melee. Hunters get intrinsic aiming while jumping with bows. This 3.0 rework has really squeezed the warlock thin, so much so that it’s the class that is picked up the least by other classed mains. By that I mean Hunter mains alternate to Titan and vice-Versa. This stat business to me seems unfair. Why aren’t the classes distributed evenly? On my Warlock I’m currently using a Contraverse Hold build. In order to make it operate, requires me to have NEGATIVE-30 stat points. That is a big hit to the stat distribution and is why even something as simple as TEN points is a pretty big deal.
-
Then it's not fair that Titan has a higher base melee damage than Hunter and Warlock like it currently does
-
Edited by hoaxone: 6/11/2025 2:06:30 PMWhen hunters have to spec 70 melee to get the benefit of their class ability, gamblers dodge... you shouldn't cry about 10 mobility. Maybe they should make titans and warlocks need an extra stat to make their class abilities work the way its suppose too.
-
Historically Hunters are the only class that really need mobility because as a stat, on Warlocks and Titans it actually worked against them because it made their top speed slower. Moving mobility to mod sockets instead of a stat is just a nerf for Hunters because it means they are going to have to use all their leg mods on mobility whereas Titans and Warlocks will have the freedom to pick and choose what they want. Neither Warlocks or Titans need an extra bump to any stat to make up for Hunters getting a +10 mobility.

I just find it so strange when people play favorites
Titans have been doing more melee damage for nearly a year, yet I didn't see you on your soapbox demanding other classes get parity to "compensate." As soon as Hunters get something, though, here you come swooping in. I wonder why. EDIT: downvoted? Guess I hit a nerve. :)

A warlock is 10 times faster than a hunter I 1v1d a warlock and I could not keep up every time a hit a shot he’s half away across the map
-
Have you never seen a Hunter frantically equipping Stompees at the mere mention of a jumping puzzle ? I think there's certain jumps that would be impossible for hunters to make if they didnt get the extra mobility lol
-
Also, in terms of "favorites".... I can tell you I've never had a Titan on this acct and never will. It's a matter of principle. In pvp titan is the noob / crutch class. I've played titan on my nephews acct plenty over the years.....and while it's fine for him I'd never go there. Titan + hand cannon + shotty = king of crutch. Period. On hunter, I have to carry a TON of master worked legendary armor to work around exotics and the built in mobility nerf to the class.... ....on warlock, I've got one set plus a couple other legendary armor that work hrear with ALL exotics. Same goes for my nephews titan acct. It's far easier.....not even remotely close.....to max stats on warlock and titan. As hunter, your armor grind / build crafting is more involved.

They need it to get outta the way of my GREAVES👊🏻 -
Because mobility is a throw away for titan and warlock. Biggest class nerf nobody talks about for a decade. Deal with it.
-
Yes. This!!!!
-
You're complaining for Titans and Warlocks about something they don't even use or need? Comical.
-
why? hunters have been neglected for years. why do you care that we have slightly faster strafe speed?
Bungie, if you're gonna give hunters an extra 10 mobility at base, then you need to give titans and extra resilience bump at base, and warlocks an extra bump to class ability at base. Or, just give all classes the same base mobility, health, and class.
A few thoughts: • Granting Titans a bump to Resilience doesn’t really make sense because (per the latest TWID) all three Classes will have the equivalent of 100 by default, which seems like plenty as most players don’t even bother to max out this stat under the current system. • Your suggestion to give Warlocks a bonus to the Class stat is a clear outlier compared to giving Titans more Resilience and Hunters more Mobility as the Class stat, being one of the six featured stats (for lack of a better term) under the updated system, will grant additional functionality past 100 points and such a boost to the stat would allow Warlocks to reach this bonus more easily. A more balanced approach would be to grant Warlocks a bonus to Recovery (the third of the stats not being brought forward into the new system) which is being set to “around what 60 once was” for all three Classes. • A fairly compelling argument has been made that because Titans and Warlocks each already have intrinsic bonuses to their Classes, with Titans’ bonus to uncharged Melee damage and Warlocks’ increased uncharged Melee range, the decision to give Hunters slightly improved Mobility actually brings them up to parity with the other two Classes. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
-
With the new stat system it be more prudent to give Titans a +10 in health or Melee. And warlocks a + 10 in class or grenade. However those boosts are probably more valuable than weapons which is why they aren’t added. As well as if you look at classes from a PvE standpoint the hunter tool kit isn’t as universal as the other classes they might need the buff to keep their class identity actually in contention.
-
I wouldn't say no to a base class ability regen for warlocks we don't really need it as we get it back pretty fast but still wouldn't say no.
