Is playing the next expansion worth it for long time players?
I honestly haven’t really touched this game since the beginning of May. Been playing other games that I missed out on.
Idk. I feel like everything I worked for with my stats is just going down the drain. Now we are resetting power levels. AGAIN.
Edit - I already pre-ordered but I’ve been seeing a lot people stating online of how much the new system blows. They just do not like the new system regarding how stats are distributed and used.

The only reason all of these changes seem bad is because this is the first time destiny has done this and the destiny community absolutely despises change. As a veteran player I’m excited about stuff I haven’t been excited about in this game for years because of the changes. A lot of other games have seasonal resets that are way more brutal than what bungie is doing and almost all of those games have higher player counts and engagement than destiny. This forum and this community in general are filled with extremely toxic and dramatic people who absolutely hate the current state of the game but also hate the idea of the game changing in any way that make it seems worse than it actually is. If you like playing destiny you’ll probably have a good time in edge of fate.
