Yall do realize that almost all enhanced perks make no real difference in gameplay. Almost all of them are either a super small stat bump or a tiny insignificant timer increase or decrease. A half second to 1 second difference. The new tier 5 weapons will not outclass all other weapons. Having an enhanced mag or barrel is not gonna be the reason you do the hard thing you couldn’t do before.

Everyone defending the tier system clearly doesnt play pvp lol If I get a Tier 3 weapon with a good roll jt cannot be upgraded to a tier 5. Its just junk at that point. Terrible system.

Onions have layers. Ogres have layers.

Edited by Hunter_Umbra: 6/9/2025 7:40:37 PMSnake eating its tail argument. If they don't make a difference, why lock them behind the most tedious (notice I didn't say "difficult") content then? Why not make ALL gear universally tier 1-2 but then give us a way to upgrade all the way to tier 5 with the highest tier of difficulty giving the best chances for the currency to do so? You know, an actual investment system.

Yeah, but most of these people have a worm in their brain that screams until their gun has a golden border so it really doesn't matter if it's effective or not.

Edited by TonnoSenpai: 6/9/2025 7:55:20 AMyeah, that's true, tier 5 weapons and tier 0 enhanced weapons are basically the same with some minor stats buff, the problem is the artifact bonus tbf, i hope the bonus is only for the new gear playlists but who knows

Its the extra damage % for high tier weapons that has been mentioned which is what is causing much frenzy. Some perks when enhanced are good and worth using, while non enhanced are not even really a consideration. Most though are an incremental upgrade, and are nice but not really needed. However, multiple bumps in stats across barrels/mags, enhanced perks and origin traits, could see a more substantial bump in performance from the same exact roll of low tier. Some of the timer bumps for damage perks are just enough to allow more forgiveness with its gameplay loop, but generally are not game breaking. The differences in Adept or standard weapons now, for the most part does not really change much. Other than the few weapons which can really take advantage of certain adept mods which are not available to normal weapons like charge or draw time to name two. We honestly dont know enough about the full scope of the weapon tier system to really know how it scales, other than the talk about extra damage for the higher tier (which would essentially allow you to spec into abilities instead of weapons and have the same damage, or spec into weapons and gain even more weapon damage due to how damage buffs apply multiplicatively.

Players complain about things being stale and yet they rail against any change. Outside of dedicated servers and better anticheat there’s no consensus of what players really want to see in the game. I’m looking forward to the new armor changes and more nuisance with build crafting. I’m buying EoF for $40 and seeing how I feel overall with so many changes coming. Hunting new armor sets will keep me busy for a while lol.

Exactly this.
