I was lucky to get it with only 1 clear. A friend got it after a few clears. Another friend had roughly 20+ clears. With drops having a certain chance of dropping it's possible to not get it no matter how many clears. If gambling upsets you I'd suggest not worrying about getting the prize because if that's the only reason you play its almost a guarantee to frustrate you. Play the game for entertainment not loot.
