How did Sunbracers deserve their damage cut in almost half when your Consecration nerf was a 5-10% damage reduction? Syntho BoW was already outperforming Sunbracers for anything endgame and yet it only caught a 15% nerf in that same patch.
Sunbracers were hardly meta then and won't be now either when every competing melee build gets a 30% damage buff while Sunbracers forces you to stick with base melee damage.

Meta and OP builds are always reviewed and toned down. Just takes Bungie time to write a “priority” bug report and fix. What that means is just the early adopter will benefit from the fun these builds generate. The average or slow to adjust player will not see the advantage of the build. Both Sunbracers, Consecration, and stasis Titan builds have their place still for DPS. They are much less effective than they were. This makes it harder overall and some content nearly unplayable for the beginner.

Consecrations nerf was 50% to the waves which resulted in an overall 30% nerf and killed the solar version only leaving the prismatic one. Bungie also said they'd look into nerfing the ignition if it kept being op and it looks like they realized this would be too much for solar but since they're not going through with the fragment nerf they're probably going to go back to the ignition nerf.
