Tiered gear system will shut out normal players
I truly believe this will be it for the majority of players. Most people play D2 for the experience. The gear system that is being explained will only create even more elitism than currently exists in D2. Streamers have won completely. If the current ultimatum difficulty has shown, adepts and higher tiered weapons and armor will give the elite a constant advantage. When that happens I typically stop playing the game slowly. There's no point trying to overcome that wall.

19 RepliesWHY are people who are so bad at this game always so concerned with getting the best of the best weapons? I’ve never understood why people who can’t even go flawless wanted adept weapons so badly. If you’re not good enough to go flawless odds are a couple extra stat points won’t make a difference for you. People saying that this system will shut out casual players don’t make sense to me because why would a casual player NEED a weapon with enhanced barrels and mags?
