We want our vaults to mean the most and not just be sunset Bungie! That means Tier 5 enhancement, all the cosmetic bells and whistles that come with it, and seasonal dmg buffs!
Call it what you want (tier 5, new weapon leveling system, etc…) I’m going to call it what it actually is…. basically sunsetting our current vaults by nerfing them indirectly.

I cannot fathom how people hold onto so much in Vaults. 700 Vault spaces 240 Character spaces 60 Postmaster spaces That's 1,000 spaces to hold onto things. Absolutely bonkers to think anyone needs, let alone uses, that much space. I do regular Vault cleanings (for myself, clanmates and fellow Guardians) and the amount of just...unnecessary stuff in there...just wild.
Your vault and what's in it only has whatever you personally decided its value was. Also, just like for everyone else doing it, screaming sunsetting doesn't make it sunsetting. Everything can still be used and upgraded. And before anyone brings up the damage increase new gear gets, some of you should really look into things first. The new weapon stat gives every weapon in the game a damage increase, be it new or old. They also haven't once said that the seasonal damage increase stacks with the weapon stat. That makes sense. Do all of you claiming these things just not look into anything first? How is something else that gets a seasonal buff through the artifact make it so other things are being nerfed? This may come as a surprise to a lot of you, but the seasonal artifacts have always given temporary buffs to certain weapons and abilities.

Edited by Ulzana: 6/9/2025 5:44:43 PMNo pre-orders from me. I had mostly quit playing but I heard so much good things about Witch Queen, I bought it on sale. At that point the game was pretty fun, Bungie was saying all the right things and Lightfall was coming soon. I pre-ordered Lightfall just before it came out. BIG mistake. I skipped everything since. I did say that I would buy TFS when it was under $10. It's free on PSN, so I now have TFS. No way will I pre-order or buy the next DLCs. I'll get them free or for under $10 to complete the collection.. I doubt there will be any Bungie products to pre-order or buy after 2025/2026.

Not canceling my preorder. Unlike most people i enjoy my time on destiny and don't clutter my vault, i sit at 150 out of 700 And nobody does their research. Every mmo doest "SOFT" sunsetting. They put it into leveling mechanics, take borderlands for example. It is a action rpg with mmo aspects. Every gun you get replaces your favorite as they are either higher tier or better in overall stats and bonuses. Destiny is now getting that kind of system Your weapons are unusable and i will be happy using my current owned weapons in high end content

alredy pre-ordered for me and one of my friends, after all they listened after years to make armors good again
-
Nope pre ordering soon as I'm looking forward to the changes and if my old gear ends up gathering dust fine as long as I have fun.

I've seen many refer to this "Nobody" person quite often but can't recall ever seeing them actually comment on this forum. Do they use an alias or just have others act as a proxy for them?

Imagine asking not to play the game without asking directly to not play the game. It is a sunsetting, just not as aggressive as beyond light. Your gear isn't instantly pointless

Edited by amazing_month041: 6/8/2025 8:48:48 PMUnfortunately big corporations only listen when 💩 hit's the fan Look at Ubisoft: they announced the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake then went silent for years and after multiple failed releases and backlash (Skull & Bones, XDefiant struggles etc ) suddenly the remake is back and not because they cared but because they had to act so the pressure forced their hand Bungie will listen but only when it hurts Btw you can check it out that how many players pre-ordered the DLC by checking how many players having emblem that comes with th DLC but here's the crazy part: it doesn't show you that how many people pre-ordered it for the freebies or early rewards then canceled it once they get what they wanted so the true pre-orderes may be low in fact it wouldn't be suprise
