Edited by milk: 6/8/2025 4:30:33 PMYeah, you're definitely not alone. A few players on Virgin Media have reported similar connection issues lately. If you’re stuck in the Director and can’t load into any activities, it usually points to a connection stability issue, not necessarily on your end. Here are a few extra things to try: Wired connection (if possible): Wi-Fi on Virgin Media can sometimes be unstable during peak hours. Enable port forwarding or NAT type settings specific to Destiny 2. Check Bungie’s Network Troubleshooting page to ensure no known issues with your region. Also worth checking Virgin Media’s service status, they occasionally have quiet outages that affect specific areas or game traffic. Hopefully it clears up soon!

Yeah, there’ve been a bunch of reports lately from Virgin Media users having Destiny connection issues. Even when the general internet is fine, the game just hangs or fails to load destinations. You’ve already done the right stuff (router reset, cache clear), but one thing that’s helped some people is changing your DNS to something like Google’s (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). It’s not a guaranteed fix, but worth trying. Also, check if you're on a shared or CGNAT IP — that sometimes messes with Bungie's servers. Virgin support might be able to switch you to a dedicated IP if that's the case.
