cheating is out of hand at this point
the cheating problem has gotten out of hand at this rate.
i cant go a single play session without matching into cheaters that i have matched MULTIPLE times before is battle eye even doing anything? the game is at an all time low and this is simply unacceptable.
this is the first time im not pre ordering a destiny dlc in 10 years now and frankly i have 0 hope in bungie to deliver on anything that actually brings the game back from this sorry buggy state that its in.

Edited by Kiro - 13: 6/9/2025 2:40:01 PMI did notice more cheater this week then others on PC. Talking about peeps with 150hr of game play or less, rocking +4.0K/D & +6.0 efficiency. Was their some game pass deal recently? Not seen it this bad since they did that "special" offer where Cloud Strike and the Beyond Light x-pack was free. Cheaters went wild setting up burner accounts with that special deal.

Cheating is a terrible disease man, I see people openly cheating in LFGs and people that barley know anything about it support it, it’s the new lights that support it and it’s the worst thing man, but yeah cheating is getting out of hand and it shouldn’t be this easy to do so

What blows my mind is all the people who will purchase the DLC. Bungie isn't going to fix anything. I still get the new subclass unlocked on my characters. You get what they make and thats it, broken or not.

Played comp last night, had cheater on my team, I didn't quit because I don't see the point of losing 100 points because Bungie can't get their stuff working Reported that guy, blocked him Went to play qp to dodge him Come back like an hour later and guess what? Yep, playing with him again, he happened to be on my team again Just straight spamming supers, using heavy, dropping heavy on death, insta headshot with sniper Reported him again But what's crazy that he's level 7, I'm a freaking level 6 veteran because I can't be bothered, but imagine playing game for so long and constantly being reported and Bungie does nothing That's why I don't quit when cheater is on my team, I should not be losing points because Bungie can't make a working anti cheat and check reports Also played a lot of times against a cheater when he insta slide headshot you with Cloudstrike, has 100% accuracy despite playing game for a few hours, apparently I'm just bad and need to git gud

I guess Bungie's thinking: "If no one plays Destiny 2, then there won't be any cheaters in game." So all they have to do is just mess up everything Trust Bungie—let it cook

I support your complaint but it just isn't a problem for the majority of players. It's a problem of the elites and they certainly don't care about the rest of the community.

6 RepliesReport it to psn. They took my report seriously and got this kid banned he was a 0.8 kd playing like a 2.4 in trials that weekend and had 100% headshots with cloud strike. He hasn’t played since I reported him.

1 ReplyI saw a recent video posted by the streamers ifrostbolt where his team encountered a cheater who could make his Guardian giantsized and stomp everyone. It was ridiculous in so many ways.

I haven't played any comp in 2-3 weeks, playing human opponents, is more stressful, than playing against the cpu, also, I haven't really done much progress in the main story campaign, because up until recently, I was a free user. Shame, I like playing against human opponents though, I'm just put off by some of the things they do, and vice versa, you get criticized about what weapon, and play style you use, also, fearful of nerfs.

I did run some trials on PC last week and it's bad when the first thing you hear is a random team mate saying "that guy on the other team is a cheater". And low and behold, he killed us all within like 5 secs every round and never missed a headshot. We even tried to gang up on him, didnt help.

Yeah it’s gotten way worse this season than I’ve ever seen. People blatantly cheating flying around with heavy. 0.5 kd players suddenly dropping 6.0 seasonal kds this season. I even saw a guardian turn himself the size of a building
