The comparisons are so wildly contrasting.
One’s time gated to all hell, sucking the fun out of it - the other was very well paced.
One has desire-able loot for the following year, that’ll even get a sweet buff update once the next year starts - the other has gear that’s being made obsolete on day 1 of the next release.
One had tons of aspirational cosmetic and fun rewards on top of high end drops from the encounters original loot pool - the other a single item.
One seems to be a momentary forgettable experience - the other prepped you for the following expansion and left a memorable impression.
The concept for a Dungeon equivalent to Pantheon was an awesome idea, but it needs a lot more time in the oven to compete.

RotN is pretty bad. Lame dungeons, lame weapons and whatever this storytelling (these useless videos we get without voice) should be. It's not even Into the Light from wish... it's an ugly abomination
