Dear Bungie and Destiny2 team,
I'm writing to report — once again — several frustrating and long-standing issues with the Twitch Reaction Bounty system, specifically as it pertains to in-game Destiny 2 rewards such as Trials of Osiris reputation points, XP, and Glimmer.
To be clear, this is not about Twitch Drops, but about the in-game reaction rewards that players earn by interacting during eligible streams and redeeming bounties through the Twitch Reaction system. I emphasize this because in the past, a Bungie support representative seemed to misunderstand this and confused it with standard Twitch Drops.
Here are some of the major issues I’ve experienced:
/ Reaction items not showing up after Trials of Osiris matches.
/ Reaction button fails to register progress, often returning a "failed to fetch" error.
/ Reaction progress randomly decreases during viewing — for example, going from 8/10 back to 4 or even 10/10 to 4/10.
/ Changing the language settings causes previously earned reaction progress to be lost.
For reference, I regularly clear my browser cache and cookies, so these problems are not caused by local caching issues on my end.
These bugs make the entire system feel unreliable and broken. Reaction Bounties are supposed to reward engagement and build community, but instead, they are wasting players’ time and undermining trust in the feature.
I sincerely hope these issues are taken seriously and addressed soon. This is not the level of quality we expect from a studio like Bungie.
Thank you for your time.

I had the impression that this has not been supported for some time and therefore no longer works properly. Perhaps it should be considered whether this is still wanted or can be switched off. At the moment it's been very frustrating and I stopped watching Trials on Twitch at some point.

the issue is you are reacting more than once per match. the pop up may appear more than once but actually only counts for 1. It will bug out the extention if you claim multiple. the counter will go up but not actually count for the goal. You will have to make sure you are only clicking on 1 per match. Not sure if bug or by design to prevent bots but has been that way for a LONG time

Edited by aka_kay: 6/8/2025 9:20:40 AMI reacted 10 times to each of four different streamers, for a total of 40 reactions. Along the way, progress kept resetting and reactions often didn’t appear at all. I confirmed that the bounty was completed for two of the streamers. Eventually, the Special Delivery kiosk started blinking — but there was nothing there. This is 2 weeks in a row for me, you can refer this topics; https://www.bungie.net/ja/Forums/Post/264777943?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 This system clearly has serious issues. I strongly urge Bungie to conduct a thorough investigation and implement proper fixes.
