It's a game.
Why is there so much whining around Destiny 2?
People going on about "if they sunset" A or B, I've wasted 1000s of hours.
IT'S A GAME!
Playing it (solo or with friends) and obtaining stuff is basically it!
I have over 4000 hours of play, nearly all PvE and I just enjoy the gameplay and striving for weapons and exotics. I couldn't care less if the entire inventory was wiped out and I had to start from scratch.... that's the point!
In fact, the game is so old now, what IS THERE to strive for? It's great they're going to have an overhaul (not enough IMO, I would have got rid of everything and started fresh).
You can all post your sweaty aggressive comments now... I know you will...but be aware, I will make a YouTube video of me dismantling rare weapons and armour, IN SLOW MOTION, and send it to you all.

I think the game was up for a change - I'm just not sure about the way they're going about it. I don't even care about the things that indirectly will be sunset at the start of the new era. My concern lies with the incentive to grind during future season - if they're going to slap us with such a hefty power reset and sunset of the previous season bonuses every time a new season arrives. I mean, let's be real, everyone plays stuff in destiny 2 sometimes - or perhaps even most of the time - that they otherwise wouldnt have played if it wasnt for the loot. You just have to play a strike through MM, watch people speedrun just to get it over as fast as possible to realize that loot often is more important than fun. Will we play as much - and especially at the end of a season - if we know that the gear will lose its bonuses in a not so distant future???
