Mobility should just be 100, not 30 and 40

Mobility as a stat matters for Hunters. Only providing 4 mobility to a class dependent on being able to jump around and is a big part of their kit is a terrible idea. I think all classes should just be 100 mobility and move on. You gave us all the same DR, give us all the same mobility. We all deserve to zoom, but especially Hunters. Go run Salvations Edge on a 4 mobility hunter and dont use ascension or amplified speed boost or stompeez and see how bad of a decision this is.

  • yeah 100, mobility literally barely maes any difference, 3percent faster walk speed when we run most of the time? 10 mobility is like just 15% faster walk speed, also just jumping a meter higher wont be an issue either. i mean recovery being 60 makes sense, that affects battle and healing and can be built into, even if im not gonna touch health stat.

    • I used to mobility 50 to 60. It due cuz jumping ships (King Fall raid). Any less on that, it make me fall off. I prefer that instead 50-60 is better choice for running speed.

      • Sorry. WHAT? They’re changing mobility/intellect/strength etc for each class? And making the Hunter, WHOSE ENTIRE STRENGTH IS IN MOBILITY, the LOWEST of the three??? Can Hunter for ONCE not get absolutely SHAFTED?!?

          Alright, give Titans T10 damage resistance and Warlocks a base of T10 recovery then.

          • Exactly. This was so incredibly dumb. Even if we ignore the fact that Hunters had already been saying Mobility felt lacking. Losing all faith in their ability to make decisions. It seems like we get new teams working on old problems with few of the lessons learned over the years.

            • "ENHANCED ATHLETICS" will boost mobility.... But.... to get 100 you need to stack 3. This means no space left for actual boot mods. SOLUTION: They SHOULD add 3 'ENHANCED ATHELTIC' mods costing 1,2, or 3 points. That way 100 mobility STILL costs 3 points, but doesn't hog all the slots. EA1-1 point +30 mobility EA2- 2points: +55 mobility EA3- 3 points: +70 mobility(plus base 30 mobility=100 mobility) Equip one "max mobility' mod Vs stack 3 mods Same price, one slot.

              • 60 mobility is just not viable, 70 is the minimum, I do not have a single combination of armor, that can grant me 100 mob & res at the same time, it's just not possible with current rng, I have been playing, and grinding for months, ever since I started, never happened.

              • It should be 70 on all classes and the choice to use the mod to go to 100. It makes zero sense honestly.

              • It should just be a toggle between 30 and 100 mobility. Warlock and Titan jump skates are faster at lower mobilities which is likely why they chose to make it so low. Strafe speed, blink distance, and jump height are all things that are useful in certain contexts (mostly PvP). Or they should just separate the concept entirely from mobility and just give each class decent strafe speed (like 60-70 mobility equivalent at least) and their jump height should be handled individually so that Blink and Hunter jump can get the benefit of 100 mobility and glide and lift can get the skate benefit from lower mobility. I think any “solution” that doesn’t acknowledge and attempt to address that all classes want high strafe speed but not all classes want high jump height will just create a new issue for another class.

                    • Ya jumping is so going to be messed up... as a warlock I keep mine at 18 so I can "skip" the higher mobility messes with my ground game and low altitude movements...it's going to suck

                    • The only class that doesn't benefit from high mobility is Warlocks. I run Tier1 -Tier2 Mobility (10-20) and this is better for our warlock bunny hopping We don't want higher mobility (obviously this poses issues for PvP: If one set of people is at 100 & the other 2 are or are not.)

                      • I run 70 mobil on my hunter mainly and tbh I think that would be the best sweet spot for all classes it's not to much and not to little

                        • I think base stats (mob resil recov) being 30 100 60 is fine, but I think that all three of the classes should have had a bonus, and the bonus should have been bigger. Like give hunters base 70 mobility, warlocks base 100 recovery, and titan an additional 5% of damage resist above those base values.

                          30-40 for Titan and Warlock, 100 for Hunter. What would actually change if they set it to that? Most Titan and Warlock builds run low mobility as it’s their current dump stat, on top of that low mobility is actually better for their jump abilities. Meanwhile Hunters builds have, for years, built into high mobility for the sake of their class ability, which is integral to many of their builds, so as a result most Hunters have years worth of experience being highly nimble and are used to the feeling. Setting it to these numbers would change nothing for the majority of players, and Hunters can avoid getting yet another nerf.

                          • Bro the biggest joke was back in vanilla d2 where a 1 mobility warlock was faster by a large margin than a 10 mobility hunter 🤣 This is still the case btw, base mobility wise warlocks with burst glide will still be faster

                            • Hunters should have high mobility and ada movement. Hunters have much less movement than warlock and titans.
