It doesn't matter that Destiny 2 is old what matters is Bungie is clearly not respecting the players progression or the time that they invest in this game they want to take away everything from players. Ex this is what outriders, in outriders we had an inventory bug where it wiped your entire inventory players didn't come back to regrind everything they told Square enix to go f*** yourself. "Your current gear is still very viable in The Edge of Fate and you will surely use it in the near future when beginning the new expansion, and even in Contest Mode for the World First Race.] https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/twid_06_05_2025 however it does raise the question how effective would adapt weapons be in terms of the new tier system. obviously we're going to have to increase weapon damage with tier weapons but a lot of people are speculating that maybe because of the way you get adapt weapons maybe they might make them into tier ones or even tier 2. You can even view it as what was the point of Bungie releasing ultimatum dungeons if these weapons are just going to be thrown in the trash at the start of edge of Fate logically it would have made more sense to release ultimatum dungeons in edge of fate!
