Mobility is now Weapons
Resilience is now Health
Recovery is now Class
Strength is now Melee
Discipline is now Grenade
Intellect is now Super
Here is the breakdown of the Tiers
Weapons
No more Adept weapons
Tier 1 No enhanced perks
Tier 2 Columns 3 - 4 enhanced (Similar to crafted)
Tier 3 Double perks, columns 3 - 4 enhanced (Similar to current Adepts)
Tier 4 Double enhanced perks in all columns and enhanced mods
Tier 5 Double enhanced perks in all columns and enhanced origin trait. Special animation and cosmetics
Armor
No more Artifice armor
All armor will have max energy and not need Ascendant shards to get there)
Tiers 1-3 Higher Tier is supposed to have higher stats
Tier 4 Increased energy for mod slots to 11
Tier 5 Increased energy for mod slots to 11 and an extra mod slot that can be used to change stats. Similar to current Artifice armor.
Current Exotic Class items will be retrofitted with new stats. All other class items will not be. They are really just ornaments now anyway.
Other exotic armor will not be retrofitted with new stats. You will be given 20 tokens to buy Exotic armors from Ada-1. These will be randomly rolled with new stats.
The artifact will give a bonus to damage and a bonus to damage reduction based on the number of New gear items you are wearing. It takes 5 items of new gear to hit max bonuses.
My only opinion here is there is no way to tell if current gear will be Great, Good, Or Meh. We will have to wait for the other sandbox changes.

I have some really good armor that I would like to be able to continue to use. It's also one less thing I have to grind for, again. I think doing D3 on the cheap may bite them hard.
