Based on what I've seen.
New tired system looks good and will hopefully fix loot stagnation a bit granted give it a few years loot will stagnate again that's just the nature of online games.
Not a fan of grinding power levels again but it doesn't look to bad unlike how it currently is.
Prismatic didn't need a nerf in my opinion would have much preferred buffs to less used aspects and fragments but oh well I'll adapt.
The bonuses for using new gear could be a problem but we'll see how that unfolds.
Got concerns on exactly how old weapons are affected and will need to test.
Happy we haven't got a new subclass as bungie barely manage the subclasses we have.
Old armour being outclassed by new armour I don't mind at all as the current armour system has felt stale overall.
In summary I'm definitely interested in the changes and hope it brings some life into a game that has felt more and more stagnant. Definitely gonna give destiny 2 another year.

Doesn't interest me, think I'll stay uninstalled.

Edited by Northern: 6/8/2025 7:56:40 AMSounds like another tedious grindfest, and I'm not motivated enough to go through crap like that again.

I’m waiting for actual player reviews before purchasing. I jumped the gun to be disappointed too many times already to just throw money at Bungie. It’s like taking a thick honey home from the club to remove the spandex n everything might just drop like yuck lol

I really don't think it fixes jack, but to each their own.

I'll definitely give it a chance. Game is pretty stale and has been for some time. If it sucks, oh well. I never really thought adding to D2 was going to work out long-term. At least not without big innovations every few years or so. They've failed miserably at even updating the core game modes meaningfully.
