I just read the TWAB (I refuse to call it the TWID)... And it is mentioned that the old stats Mobility/Resilience/Recovery are being changed to fixed values. Which I generally support.
However, why do Hunters get 40 Mobility as a fixed stat, with Titans and Warlocks only getting 30. But every class has the same fixed Resilience and Recovery values?
Excuse me but where is the class fantasy there? Hunters are still supposed to be the glass-cannon DD, Warlocks the supporter/healer and Titans the Tanks.
Why do Titans not have 100 resilience as fixed stat with Warlocks and Hunters being fixed at 90?
Why do Warlocks not have 60 recovery as fixed stat with Hunters and Titans being fixed at 50?
I just don't get it. Why are Hunters always getting the preference even in data on reworks?
I just don't get it. Why are Hunters always getting the preference even in data on reworks?
Ah yes, the preferential treatment of… 0.2 meter per second faster walk speed and 0.09 meter per second faster crouch speed. Sprint speed is unaffected. Ah yes, the preferential treatment of… consecration IE the best melee in the game still having three charges and only losing one fragment slot, while winters shroud, something that takes two class ability activations to freeze something and has a range of about 4 meters also loses one. Ah yes, the preferential treatment of… a radiant transcendent celestial nighthawk golden gun headshot on a weakened target with facet of courage procced (6 steps of stacking damage) does less damage than a cuirass of the falling star (a single exotic) tcrash. Ah yes, the preferential treatment of… hunters needing 70 in their melee stat in EoF to get a full refund on their melee from gamblers dodge, while neither other class has to spec 70 points into anything to get full use of their class ability. Ah yes, the preferential treatment of… hunters being dominant in one encounter in one raid a year ago for about three weeks and them being neutered in PvE ever since. Titans got a 20% base melee damage buff btw.

To be fair it’s not like Bungie hasn’t done stuff like this before. Warlocks up until around 30th anniversary had more base melee range than the other classes. No one else even had any clear builtin passives back then except them. Titans currently do more base melee damage. Hunters are now being given a higher base mobility. Now in my opinion I would say give Warlocks something too (now, rather later) just so that each class has some kind of passive. However I will say that no one seemed to have any issues when Titans got a buff to their base melee damage.

It’s 10 mobility. Not a big deal Resil and recov aren’t even a thing.
