Perk weight is still alive and it’s out of hand.
I don’t know and I don’t care how algorithms work. But when every perk combination drops, except the most popular (aka god-roll) one, then I can’t accept this is just “random” or “luck”. F that.
From over 60 No Survivor rolls, only one dropped with heal clip, incandescent, and that’s not even a 5 out of 5 roll.
Meanwhile exact roll combinations are dropping back to back.

3 RepliesI've seen the same thing on several guns. Certain perks drop far more often than others. I don't think Bungie ever fixed the issue and just hoped we would forget about it after they gave us a few curated weapons. I question if they even know how to fix the issue.

they never said it was fixed didn't they, they only put the god rolls in banshee so people can stop complaining for a while

1 Reply60 is simply not a large enough sample size to make any conclusions. The odds are meant to be against you from the outset regardless. Getting what you want means you "stop playing" and they can't have that.

In testing I've noticed that focusing engrams or drops seems to enable the perk weight bug. If you don't focusing you seem to have true RNG with perks.

Threat Detector/surplus and opening shot doesn't exist on the Fortissimo. It just doesn't exist.

I got 3 from far less than 50. It's luck. I'm still missing a rimestealer/chain reaction new Pacific, but have got plenty lead/sword logic rolls
