How do i transfer my characters and progress from Playstation to Steam
Hi, i've been playing destiny since Forsaken and a bit before the release of Lightfall i moved over to Steam, as my main system.
Recently i've been thinking of deleting my psn account since i dont care for what's on it and i've decided to move permanently to PC (moslty so i dont have to depend on sony or Cross save to keep my progression), but as it shows in the screenshot i put as a link, the saves data is being shared from my psn account, not from my steam.
I tried looking for a way to transfer the save data, but i could not find a way to do it.
Is there something i'm missing or i'm forever relegated to depend on psn and cross save?

1 ReplyEdited by EckyThump: 6/1/2025 5:41:23 PMHey there, characters are permanently tied to the account on which they were created, Bungie does not offer any kind of transfer between accounts. Cross-save is the closest we have, to let characters be played on other systems, and yes indeed, it is just a 'share', the characters still belong to PSN and all progress is being made on it. So unfortunately yes you will always be dependant on that PSN account.
