Why can't you make expansion/in game purchases accessible to the user over multiple platforms? I have been a dedicated customer to Bungie/Destiny from the beginning buying every expansion. I started playing Bungie on Playstation but have recently switched to PC for multiple reasons. I have noticed that 98% of my purchased content is not available on my PC because it was purchased through the Playstation store. This is very frustrating and disheartening as I want to buy the new expansion set to release in a few months. I really want to be able to play this on my PC but I know that without purchasing all of the previous expansions that I have already purchased I will not be able to fully enjoy the game. Am I missing something or do you expect people to make people buy everything multiple times if they happen to have multiple platforms or just want to change from one to the other? Please advise

Hello there, Expansions are licensed by the platform for their platform. When you make the purchase you are buying license to play the content on that platform. Each platform gets a percentage of the sales price for allowing the content to be on their platform. To allow the expansions to cross platform each platform would need to agree to accept each other's licenses without taking their percentage. This is covered in the FAQ for cross save.
Do my previous game purchases transfer across platforms? No. The things you have purchased from your PC or Console stores will remain on the platforms where you bought them. These includes games or balances of Silver. Cross Save enables you to access the Guardians and Collections on one Active Account from wherever you play. The things that you acquire for your characters in the game are what move with you from one platform to another.
Unfortunately, you have to purchase it again on the platform you're opting to play on.
