Can everyone list their API/Forum issues and/or give this an upvote? ...maybe Bungie can get us an official comment on this.....

For the game I get lots of “connecting to Destiny server” messages and for this particular app when I try to post a response it gives me error message saying they are getting lots of incoming traffic and to chill or something to that effect. Happens quite a bit the last few days to include today. Ironically it just happened again while trying to post this response🤣

(It was equipped to my titan, I wanted to move it to hunter.) So, looking at the 4 other energy weapons in my titans inventory at the time I tried to equip one with little light and give it the replacement it couldn't find. Got an unexpected error. Had to go and put it in my vault manually And while trying the post this comment, I got the api overwhelmed message.

I tried to upvote but got error message “too many requests coming in at this time”… so I went to play a little & kept getting “contacting servers”… someone on the fireteam tried to use DIM for a weapon but it wasnt working… then I DC’d so I went to check RaidReport to see if I got a red dot & it said “Bungie is having traffic issues”… I came back to refresh Bungie.net & leave a comment, but got a new error “you must reach a minimum light level to use this feature. I refreshed again & had to sign in 3 times in order to successfully leave this comment.

Ishtar doesn't work. Try to move a gun & get a message saying bungie is throttling traffic please try again later. Can't forum post as I get too much traffic & bungie said to chill, or tells me I've no internet or I need to make progress to be able to post. Check my account & I've usually no characters & when I do manage to post my name on changes to account removed. Ingane I get contacting destiny servers every few mins & this has resulted in my not playing for a full day.

I can't pick up my bounties from the app but can still move my weapons around.

Getting lots of 'contacting destiny servers' in-game and getting lots of authentication errors and server errors using these forums. I don't know when the marathon closed alpha ends, but when they announced it they said 'we plan to break stuff' .. well they've certainly over delivered on that one.

I thought I was going crazy with no one talking about this, at least not anywhere I've seen. Having to click "sign in" 12 times in a row before it goes through, submitting posts 4 times before it decides the servers aren't dying... Fun times.

Ever since Tuesday reset, I get multiple "Not authorized" Sweeper Bot messages no matter which of my previously attached accounts I use. It takes a random login to one of four services before one of them "takes." I rotate between bungie.net, DIM, Braytech and Destiny Recepies until I get one that has a successful login and places a current cookie in the browser. This situation is made more difficult by the very short timeout that Bungie places on the cookies before requiring re-authentication, particularly on the Forums access. When posting to the forums and reacting to content to the forums, I've consistently gotten the message from both a desktop browser and the Destiny mobile app that "The server tells me that requests are coming too fast and we have to wait a while." I'll try to get a screenshot the next time it happens. post it to imgu and edit this post so I can add the link within this post.

Authentication failures on trying to log into bnet, post failures with the we have to chill error (I now copy the text of anything I post just in case). DIM throttling sometimes taking several attempts to transfer 1 damn item, really annoying. Not over-delivering on network performance now it seems.

Mostly I get the connection error screen with the sweeper bot and the Fonzie pop-up.
