Ok the star wars talk got me thinking and hear me out Darth sidious was a failure. 1. He failed to train a strong apprentice that can replace him maul cut in half by a young kanobi, dooku was never anything but his rebound apprentice and vader turned back and was never fully a sith. 2. His empire fell apart quickly only what 25 years. 3. He only reset the jedi order not fully destroyed them cal, yoda, kanobi, voss, baris, kanan, ezra if they united they could have beat the sith sooner. His desire for immortality and to be the ultimate power was his undoing instead of trying to build a stable empire and a sith successor.
