Is anyone else completely turned off by this Star Wars crossover?
I don’t know about you all, but I find the idea of building a whole DLC around a Star Wars sponsorship incredibly disappointing. I’m here to play Destiny not participate in a Disney themed event. Crossovers are one thing when they’re limited to cosmetics or small events, but centering an expansion around another franchise feels like the game is slowly losing its identity.
It’s starting to feel like Destiny is taking a page from Fortnite whoever pays enough gets to shape the game’s direction. And that’s not what made this universe special in the first place. We’ve got decades of rich lore, original characters, and complex storylines. Why are we sidelining all that for another company’s IP?
This just seems like a strange move, and to me, it cheapens the experience. Curious to hear what others think are you excited about this Star Wars content, or do you feel like it’s a step in the wrong direction?

So... Bungie deserves it's "Dual of the Fates". In one hand we have Metroidvania inspired Marble Madness gameplay with Deep- sight inspired strand force powers to move gameplay objects in game. Estimated to be about the size of Shadow keep! New weapons grind, new armour grind, new power grind. In the other, we've got star wars. Now, I love Star wars, but, never once have I felt that Destiny's Universe wasn't as deep or had the ability to be just as Deep- if not richer. The toxic phrase, " Play your own way" made a return... Which promptly made me turn off the stream. So, One pint- sized expansion for us and one for Bungie to rent destiny out to the highest bidder. ( Oh, year of prophecy sounds promising) You sold us out Bungie. Good Luck making those ends meet. Well that's a new form of monetization I did not see coming.
