Everything looks great. Not sold on tiers just yet but I'm at the point that where I don't really want to play until vault space is addressed. Anyone else feel that way?

I personally just go and take a look at my stuff and if it’s still 1900 power level at this point I just delete it. Also you can pull exotics out at the power level of 2010. If you have any exotics below 2010 delete those especially if you don’t use them. Lastly before a new expansion starts I usually pull everything from my characters and look at duplicates, keep what I like best and delete the others. I keep around 580 items in my vault currently. I plan on cleaning up soon. If you have any garbage exotic armor rolls just delete those also, especially if the power level is very low. Just some pointers.

Ooohh....the "Vault Cops" are coming for you!! The defenders of all things vault-y! Good luck OP!

Edited by ForeverLaxx: 5/7/2025 8:51:35 AMI'm convinced that people who are vehemently against any sort of Vault Space Fix only play a single game mode and only use one or two builds for everything. Then they get carried through all the content that build isn't suited for, telling you to "just delete things you don't use, nerd" like they have the perspective to even make such a statement. I have guns in my vault that don't drop anymore, with rolls that don't exist anymore, that sometimes end up outperforming current weapon options due to various buffs/nerfs to the game (Quickdraw + Snapshot Steady Hand says hello with its "blint build" supremacy). Sometimes you just want to do something different and more weapon options broadens the scope of things available to you. But it's not just weapons, either. Armor takes up a large portion of my vault. With how much variance there is in armor stats, you can't guarantee any one drop is "better" than what you're currently wearing (assuming you have a full, complete build already). That one drop of 64 stat armor might gain you enough points to raise one of your current stats another tier, but only if you use a completely different set of armor from your vault to complement its stat spread. You can't do that if you just shard every single thing you can't immediately use. Hell, even your subclass can drastically change what armor is viable for your build because of the fragment stat increase/reduction, and that says nothing about Bungie randomly deciding to add, increase, or remove any of those fragment bonuses/negatives. All of this to say: the people telling you to delete your stuff don't have the perspective required to understand the problem. Even Datto, as boneheaded as he is, admitted to regretting his decision to delete things that would have been amazing after a buff/nerf cycle happened. And he's the guy known for trying to make people delete stuff (he's also known for other things, but bringing up how much of a baby he is makes his orbiters mad so I won't do that here).

It’s kinda crazy they expect the vets to just keep playing with no more vault space.
-
The flood of new weapons always eats up space…it would help free-up some vault space if the Exotic Dusl Class items and Exotic Energy Swords each have 1x Master (blank) copy with all earned / acquired variables on a drop-down or wheel menu, so the player can mix and match, accordingly! That would work! 👈 Failing that, more vault space required! 👈👈 Remember, extra vault space is optional. If it doesn’t affect you, no problemo! Just enjoy, and congratulate yourself at how good your vault space management is…and don’t worry about everyone else! 🤔 That is all. Ease Springs! 🫡

You don't actively use 700+ Guns and Armor. Delete stuff.
-
Delete stuff you don’t use… no one needs 600 things in their vault lol
-
They need to ‘fix’ Collections. Allow us to save a few favorite rolls of each item and then pull them back to your inventory when you want to use the item. Collections is completely useless as it currently is implemented.
-
Edited by COMBATICUS: 5/7/2025 8:30:00 AMThis whole vault space issue wouldn't be an issue if our collection was actually useful. I've said it since day 1, and many others have as well. Why can't we just pull the weapons we acquire through there. So let's say you got a somewhat God roll, and you're using at the moment, Let us "IMPRINT" that weapon in our collections, so we can pull that gun with the rolls we imprinted out. Heck, reduce vault space if you need more room for your engine to breathe to allow us to do that from our collections.
-
And bring back crafting.
-
No, delete weapons you hoarder.
-
It’s wild to see how many mouth breathers will show up to argue against a quality of life change because they suffer from “Dismantler’s Regret” 😂
-
It's going to get even worse with the new expansion when you get set collection bonuses for armor...so now we're going to have to vault multiple armor sets for specific bonuses. Also, since they're removing 'seasonal' content, in theory armor 3.0 should be stiff we keep for the next few years until they want to make us regrind for armor 4.0.

Edited by Caydetatochip: 5/8/2025 3:15:13 AMEveryone's vault space used to be 500.. then come the hoarders screaming "we need more vault space" so Bungie bumps it up to 600, within a week there were people in the forms this forums screaming "we need more vault space" so they bumped it up to 700 and like clockwork within a week we had people in here screaming "we need more vault space" and you can mark my words this vault space that they're planning on implementing here soon with the DLCs I promise you you same people will be in here in less than a week screaming we need more vault space.. hoarding is a mental health disorder, maybe some of you people screaming "we need more vault space" need to get off the game and take care of your mental health before worrying about hoarding and collecting digital code on a video game...

Edited by Talia Sendua: 5/7/2025 4:00:34 AMMy man, in Destiny 1 we have 108 slots for armor, weapon and general goods each. I know that because I played it a few hours ago. Our 500 Vault space in Destiny 2 is VERY GENEROUS compared to that. Perhaps think about deleting those rolls you have sitting around that which you won't ever actually use?
-
I'm at 120 something vault space so no I'm good.
-
This is what will make change OP. Bungie will notice your single act of defiance and change their ways.
-
Fixed? Wasn't aware it was broken 🤣
-
Vault space is fine your just have a bunch of trash hoarded ngl
-
What issue is there with vault space? It's 700 slots.
-
It might be time to get your Spring cleaning done. Lol
-
Nope. I don’t play to hoard stuff in a vault. I play to kill some aliens. It’s an action shooter with a loot system. You loot to shoot. If you play just to collect, pokemon is more your speed.
-
I promise you you could delete half of your vault and be completely fine, I’ve never had my vault go over 400, you have useless stuff in there you just need to delete
-
No vault space is gonna be the reason I don’t order edge of fate
-
I really hope when they do up the vault space in Sept that this not by 50 lol l have around 64 spots left atm and I'm trying to not chuck in any random weapon in the vault atm with the dungeon weapons we got today
-
define "fix" more space isnt an answer as they have given it in past and it doesnt solve issues. we are at like 6x the space from d1 and no one wants gear to be sunset to force it to be deletable, so what are you expecting as a fix
