I’m gonna go against the grain here with my 2 cents, I do not care as long as they cook us something good. I’m tired of paying 80$ for a half baked game where you have to wait a year and several patch notes to finally get the game you paid for. As a side note, I did the analysis for s*** and giggles a while ago, the cost of developing Tomb Raider has increased by over 900% between the very first one and the last one. Meanwhile the price of games have remained pretty stable, accounting for inflation. I suspect this was possible due to the increase in gaming popularity and consumer pool. But now it’s seems the players pool is not growing as fast, but player expectations still are. So something has to give, either price increases or studio closing.
