That's just gas. You probably need to fart.

Rumour is 100 which is ridiculous given seasons are now free, as is the 1 dungeon. So 2 mini dlcs & 2 battle tracks (possibly) is all you're paying for, bigger dlcs were only 40 & shadowkeep was only 25 & they said shadowkeep sized, so id say 70 is a stretch. Let's see
-
my bet is 100$ for the deluxe edition
-
Oh look, it's $40 just like other DLC's lmao. I love posts based on made up gobbledyguk that ends up being wrong. My favorite.
-
I predict theyll jack up the price of renegades to compensate for whatever licensing agreement they got in with disney 😭 watch

NOT buying a single thing until they pony up for dedicated

I still have not got my moneys worth for the past year. All I have seen is bug after bug being ignored. An increase in using streamers for advertising and listening to what "they" want, just is less then 2% of the community and then the nightmarish results of Marathon. Top it off with the, we are so great and how cute our our insanely old and over abused attitudes during the EoF stream,. Nauseating! I was almost excited to hear we get to go back to the Plaguelands and then oh wait we got to go back to Venus, Titan, Dreadnaught, and a few other locations. Oh but wait did we really??? Dreadnaught more then other locations but still NOT the Dreadnaught the way we should have had it (mind you I do like Nether and CoB's but still NOT what it should have been!) So 10-20bucks maybe worth it. But based on their recent track record, yep -- NOPE! Pay more get less - "Its the (Bungo) WAY" Apropos considering Renegades and the StarWars universe.

Same price its always been. 100$
-
I'm not buying it.

Edited by Northern: 5/6/2025 12:49:10 PMIf there's no campaigns, the cost should be around $80 for both. Alternatively, wait until they go on sale. I'm too busy with other games, so I'm not buying the new dlcs.
-
40 for standard, 80 for year of prophecy, 100 for ultimate, same as last year.
-
Edited by CORPERATE COMMANDER: 5/6/2025 8:18:16 AMThat's why I ain't buying it lol 🤣 only a fool pays top dollar to have there hard earned armor sunset and content removed vaulted whatever bungies excuse is Buy it on sale when it's 20$ for the lot ,especially with how they have treated there main playerbase over the years shunting them out of playlists to make room for only the top% players and putting all d2 funding into marathon
-
Not for me. I refuse to throw more money at this game, or BungLe in general.
-
Get a job Things aren’t expensive then

Edited by Obelix: 5/6/2025 11:02:55 AMI’m gonna go against the grain here with my 2 cents, I do not care as long as they cook us something good. I’m tired of paying 80$ for a half baked game where you have to wait a year and several patch notes to finally get the game you paid for. As a side note, I did the analysis for s*** and giggles a while ago, the cost of developing Tomb Raider has increased by over 900% between the very first one and the last one. Meanwhile the price of games have remained pretty stable, accounting for inflation. I suspect this was possible due to the increase in gaming popularity and consumer pool. But now it’s seems the players pool is not growing as fast, but player expectations still are. So something has to give, either price increases or studio closing.

Edited by starcrest: 5/6/2025 10:09:49 AMWith its title "edge of fate" I'm thinking this will be the second-to-last release ... with the last one coming next year which will be the fate / destiny of D2. By then the old gen consoles will be on their last legs so it will make sense to end it then.

If the prices go up it’s because of the slags at Nintendo raising their prices which Microsoft is already copying. I’m sure Sony will be next. -

Eliksni at Heart, Lover Of Eris Morn - old
But its not a physical product, it's not effected by Tarrifs, not imported Bungie has no excuse to raise prices, and Sony hasn't........yet -
120-140 for the year is my guess. 40/60 or 50/70 per With most likely extra bonuses for the year opt-in.
-
Possibly, but since everything else is that's to be expected, isn't it?
-
Honestly the make or break factor for me is how heavily Bungie leans into Roguelike elements.
-
At least it's not a Nintendo game for 90 dollars and runs at 30fps
-
Kinda expected.
