Is there a secret about the way this exotic works that I don't know about? Because for about the last couple of years (this is at least my second report on this), Assassin's Cowl simply doesn't work consistently.
At some point, I thought that I had to activate my class ability first (with the Lethal Current aspect equipped) to get that going. But even doing that, melee kills sometimes don't give me invisibility.
It's especially pronounced when I'm trying to get my first invisibility from a melee kill. Finishers seem to work somewhat more reliably, so I tend to use those to get it primed when I can, but even that isn't 100% reliable. Once I get it going, I can
(The short description, by the way, differs from the full description in the item details, since it says it's powered melee kills and finishers that grant invisibility, which is not the impression you'd get if you read the full description.)
It's quite frustrating when I use this for a good arc build in more difficult content and it simply won't work.

Hello there, Thank you for your detailed report. We understand the Assassin's Cowl isn't consistently applying invisiblity when you inflict Powered melee final blows. This does sound strange to us. If feasible, could you kindly record a video which demonstrates what you're experiencing? Once you have footage, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, and we'll investigate.
