If you have to delete materials to get materials, the caps are too low
Getting tired of having to delete mats to reset vendors
Please do like all MMOs and have no currency caps, it would be a huge quality of life improvement

I've been deleting prisms and shards to collect prisms and shards for a few years now.... everything has been masterworked for years, there's nothing to spend them on. They are pointless for veterans, yet somehow very scarce for newer players. Instead of making us delete these mats, put a wishing well in the tower and let us interact with it to donate our overflowing mats, then let newer players collect those mats.

Reality is that if there was actually worthwhile things to spend currency on, you would not be in this situation. Neither would I! Like legendary shards, I had thousands of them, but nothing to spend them on. I currently have thousands of bright dust, nothing to spend them on. Bungie thinks giving us a 0.00001% chance at something useful, not the best roll, just useful is equal to a valuable purchase. Planetary mats, shards, bright dust, anything you can collect in the tens of thousands is not truly useful. The economy is broken, like most of the game. Bungie is clueless how to fix it, they just remove stuff.

Control freaks rule at Bungle. Fake importance of materials to increase the grind. More grind instead of content. Circular.

Exactly, this is just petty control. Why does it matter?? If someone has 1 million cores over the couple thousand I have, it doesn’t matter, who F cares?! People have to play the game to acquire. That means THEY ARE PLAYING THE GAME. Shouldn’t that be priority #1! The players count is shameful and they should be doing everything to retain.

I’m not an engineer or technician, but doesn’t increasing the cap/vault space/etc affect server stability?

Materials CAP should be removed.

Turned my 99 IB engrams in today, had to go to Rahool twice to get glimmer. Glimmer is the only thing I ever run out of.

1 ReplyWhat would be better would be shake things & stop crutching on materials as loot for everything. Even on a new account you go from having 0 materials to maxed everything very quickly & then you've no use for any of it. I spent most of my time deleting materials & loot, all worthless
