Got a returning player back to Destiny and....
We cannot finish the Final Shape campaign because no one plays Excision. Is it required to have all the aspects and fragments?

4 RepliesGetting people for excision should be fine, it's matchmade. The issue is legendary excision for ergo sum catalyst. You need to matchmake for that, and you can't run 12 people depending on your system because it makes the experience unplayable. But there are people who always run it and make the clear a walk in the park. They will be in the lfgs.

I haven't ran in in the past couple of weeks, been to busy. But up til then I never had issues running it and I ran it every week often on all 3 chars (what can I say I really like it - reminds me of the good old days of Escalation Protocol!). If you need it I can run it tomorrow afternoon/early evening (MDT) with you.

Excision is busted. I ran a GM excision to help some folks get the ergo sum catalyst. It was hellish lag

People still do it. The lifers especially— because when you beat SE you get a key that lets you hit an additional raid drop off excision. And you have to do GM excision for the ergo sum caty. Build a fireteam and people will show up. It’s like dares. Not crazy popular anymore. But people are doing it.

2 RepliesDepending on where you are playing from, as of this reply im east coast NA it's 3:45 AM, many players may not be playing. If you create a Fire teams finder you'll have a better chance at narrowing down players looking to complete it at this point and time. That's is how I do it if time frame is off peak hours, hope this helps you and your friend get it done faster.

Is your friend low light? It tends to try to match on power roughly. Who was party lead? Reset day is the best day because a few people still want pinnacles. I find the mission fatiguing, it's just bullet sponges & cheese, it's not hard it's boring, really boring.
