The best thing for this game would be for Bungie to completely abandon pvp.
Move the pvp team to Marathon and have the Pve team make some big changes.
It will be a lot easier for them if they don't have to worry about "pvp balancing" when they make new weapons, perks and abilities.
They have had 10 years to prove to us that they can handle pvp and they have failed to do so.
You see nothing but complaints about pvp here on the forum, so what is the point of wasting both time and resources keeping this thing on life support.
Abandon pvp and put all of your time and effort on pve content. Dlc's, seasonal, planets, dungeons and raids.
Let pvp die already.

I agree but differently. PvP is a major part of Destiny, it should not be completely abandoned. However, it should have a separate creative team, devs, engine/server, whatever… cuz right now, there’s too dang much going on to run smoothly. I personally would have liked for Final Shape to be the end of D2 campaign/content… too much lore is being reused, recycled, repackaged & no longer makes any sense. A brand new player can buy the game & all the DLC’s right now & immediately launch into an Episode where Eris Morn is “k1lled” & a campaign where Cayde is brought back from the dead… all before ever playing the campaigns that explain who Eris & Cayde even are ! Its nonsensical! My idea: D2 story ends with Final Shape, but it continues to be PvP focused. One last expansion “Only the Strong” or some crap, to market the new PvP direction. This will allow a dedicated team to work on the match-making, balancing, rotating trails, IB, etc… meanwhile, Bungie/SONY hires a completely new team to come up with NEW characters, new story, new lore for a separate D3 that takes place 100 years into the future, or maybe a prequel focused on the Golden Age? Whatever, just something NEW that will attract NEW players, as well as old players who wanna take a break till something new happens.
