Buddy it’s been 10 years I’ve been playing destiny. Also I dealt with this in halo. Bungie left halo to work on destiny now they are working on marathon which I’m excited about because I’m a pvp main. It’s the circle of life. Get used to it little buddy. -

3 Replies100% agree. D2 pvp ist in worst situation ever. Invis everywhere. They can fix it so easy: invis on radar. Later they can change back when nerfs are on the table. But Bungie want a bad pvp feeling

I don't think that's true, they just haven't communicated the future of Destiny very well to the player base. No way Marathon is replacing Destiny. Destiny is the cash cow. Bungie, we desperately need to see a multi-year roadmap similar to what we got in 2020. We knew about Final Shape while we were playing Beyond Light. We still had Witch Queen, and Lightfall to look forward too. I know we have Edge of Fate coming up... but what about 2026? 2027? What is your upcoming vision for Destiny 2?, Is it going to be rebranded to just "Destiny?" No spoilers, just give us the plan, what are the long term goals for Destiny 2?

At some point, D2 will suffer the same fate as D1, no future dlc or updates. Marathon is targeting a different audience. Even Marathons game director has stated that if you play Destiny, then Marathon is probably not the game for you. All good things come to an end.

You will notice… when a dev realizes they’ve made something they can’t top all the sudden “ we wanted to try something new “. It’s an age old excuse for being out of ideas. A la… Bethesda with Fallout and 76/Starfield. Bungie making a simple extraction shooter late in the game instead of full size expansions or D3. Cod every other year, Battlefield, the list goes on. The only thing that’s consistent is the games going down in scale and quality with the price going up. The ONLY studio that doesn’t do that is Rockstar. And not coincidentally they have the most anticipated and biggest releases in gaming because it is known that every new game is going to blow people away. Gaming is truly in the worst state it’s ever been.

well I think they basically clearly stated that "the team"*** was bored with the Destiny universe which helped contribute to that GENIUS-LEVEL /s decision to start 3-6 other projects to try and become a AAA studio. (thinking back on it.. not certain Bungie should have ever been considered AAA > maybe double AA) ***1-5 main brainiacs that Bungie considers goldfingers (mini mysterious technical steve jobbers probably) [spoiler]however it seems they have lost their touch[/spoiler] -
