A few weeks ago it felt like I’d get an occasional shiny drop on expert…probably one drop in 3 full runs or there about. After farming the nether pretty consistently in the past couple of weeks it’s apparent that the shiny drop rate has been nerfed super hard. Yes…you’re practically guaranteed to snag an adept weapon or two on the final major chest (no more farming the first over & over) but shiny weapons have all but dried up. On the bright side I did snag 3 or 4 shiny adept weapons, with triple perks including a near god roll machine gun, and a fair few regular shinys…however since the ability to earn triple perks came about they’ve rapidly disappeared. Bungie I understand you need to make drops with triple perks hard to get…but at the moment it feels nigh on impossible to get anymore. Perhaps you overcooked the last tweak??
