The Ambition orbs... once you have the corresponding upgrade; the track at the mirror in Eris's pad.
The white orbs, you "consume" them.
Grants a 100% buff in PvE for 15 secs?
So, if you completed everything for the season... and are wondering which active path benefits you the MOST?
Ambition, and make sure you're consuming the candy... "ooh... a piece of candy"... to activate the buff and upgrade.
The upgrade required at the Shaping Slab in Eris's apt is called:
[i]"[b][u]SUMPTUOUS REPAST -[/u][/b]
Consuming a Sigil Stone will clear all stacks of Suffocating Terror, increasing damage dealt".[/i]
The buff is called,
"Blistering Dominance".

I'm higher on Ambition. I wasn't even really thinking about it. I'm choosing Resolve. I am foregoing the easy dmg buff to make sure I end the episode with a higher resolve rank. I don't know why 👀, I just feel like it's the right choice. 😇👍💠 Edit: to extrapolate on this "conspiracy" further.... It seems intentional. The scale of the buff makes Ambition, beyond the seasonal reqs, the clear winner. Seems like bait to me. Seems like Bungie is doing something sneaky with a possible 4th wall break. If I only saw my gaming avatar as a tool... a "pawn" perhaps, then I'm choosing Ambition all day every day. But I don't 😇. Call it sappy, but I don't. Arecibo is one of my favorite missions in Destiny. It concludes with a warning, [i]"Beware of those that grant ultimate power but ask for nothing in return".[/i] Why do we lose our memories? As such... I can't accept "Blistering Dominance" without an explanation. IF, let's say... a prominent character justified their actions for the sake of Ambition, how are we any different? 100% dmg buff? I'll take THAT! 😂 No questions asked. Nope. I'm questioning it. I don't need it. I'm choosing Resolve. Also, as a teaser... I don't know how soon this will be relevant; Exos don't need to be reset/wiped. That was a Clovis protocol, a method of control... it's why Cayde had nightmares about it. Seem like... Using memories, manipulating and deleting "memory" is a core theme of this narrative. It's why he was exiled from the Vanguard. He thought he knew better than everyone else combined. He linked up with Mara Sov and Osiris planted the tree on Io. His VO in Lightfall is clearer than I thought. He and Mara Sov are trying to connect with the "mother stream". For Power... for Ambition.
