Best place to farm high-stat armor.
So the last time a seasonal vendor allowed you to trade an easy to accumulate resource and trade it en masse for GUARANTEED high stat armor was Episode Echoes, which is technically still available right now. I'm now spending those 99 engrams on the regular chasing what I now realize are severe needs for upgraded armor stats on what used to be my 2nd and 3rd characters.
Some of those pieces are 62 at base and one for my Titan had 14 in mobility. [Ugh.]
So I know the Pit of Heresy final boss when it's pinnacle.
What are other very reliable places to farm spikey 60+ armor?

I still think the war table is the best bet. Only thing easier than that is just buying the armour engram from Xur, I find its always high rolled but not as spikey as the war table. The armor from master raids drop at high stat with a specific focus every week, so if youre willing to repeat farm that, could be good

Probably Xur. He's to level, and his engrams have a high drop chance for armor and it's generally 58+ stat armor. Side note. Remember that it may not be worth it to farm high stat armor since it will be changing once Fates edge drops in a few months.

1 ReplyThe war table or seasonal vendor usually gave high stats. Plus focusing IB engrams. I'm not sure if that still works. But like Delta said armour values will be changing in a few months.

You can do pit of heresy even when it's not in rotation.
