Bought Steam keys to new account and cant unlink old account
Earlier this year I had some trouble while setting up cross-save since i linked my old steam account by accident, after I bought the expansions for destiny 2, so i dissabled cross-save to change my account and come to find out while i was in the "banned" period this feature was removed, so now i have spent money on an account I cannot link to in bungie, please help me solve this problem as i will also loose my progress of years in PS4. thanks

Thanks for taking the time to answer I will then play on my new steam account and leave the progress on ps4 behind since i really want to play the new expansions that I bought, tnx all for reaching out.

As of March 25th's [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url], which TuxyDoh kindly mentioned, only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the Steam account will unfortunately remain permanently linked.
