Case and point. Im punished for being a good player cause I'm expected to carry people that are bad at the game. Comp was sbmm for majority of this episode and then reverted back to rank based (as it should be). But because of the sbmm and the lobby balancing, all of the 0.1s to 1.3s that are in ascendant (when they shouldnt be there in the first place) are then put on my team cause of my in-game elo to "balance the match". And I cant move up in my rank because they throw the match or the other semi good players get put on the other team. Forcing me into a 1v3 or 2v3 EVERY GAME. And before anyone says "pvp dead" or "you get what you deserve", if your offended by this post, then I just might be talking about you. Lobby balancing = SBMM and thats a fact. And its not only killing comp and trials, but 6s too. For all players, not just good players

First of all, SBMM and Lobby Balancing are separate things. SBMM determines the Lobby. Lobby Balancing determines the teams. So far as I know, Bungie uses a combination of SBMM and RBMM (Rank-Based) in Competitive. I find it hard to believe that "0.1" k/d players are capable of making it to Ascendant, even with the small SBMM component that is present. Ultimately, you control this situation. Bungie gives you the option of playing with a dedicated team. You don't have to play with random players - you can pick your teammates.
