Such a low skill meta
Radar, the most important tool in the game with a huge skill gap, is useless due to invisibility, a coward ability that you can spam and you just have to press a button to use.
Smoke will also interfere with it and block an entire lane so you can’t push properly or finish someone low.
The last word, pulses and fusions are extremely low skill weapons. The first two have no recoil, huge hitboxes and you can hit bodyshots with bxr and redrix as much as you wish . Fusions still blows my mind on how strong they are yet how people (fusion rifle users) defend them as if having to charge is a skill you have to learn and enhance. Having to charge them is something everyone above average can do.
It’s so infuriating to die ohk from far away by someone bot walking that clearly didn’t deserve that kill. It’s always someone with bot positioning and bot movement.

13 RepliesEdited by Vyper: 4/25/2025 12:02:35 PMone counters the other, you see someone using TLW? swap to redrix and abuse the fact TLW falls off at slug distance. you see someone using a fusion, play corners with a shotgun in tight angles. there is counterplay there, the skill ceiling may be low but the potential to outplay people is still there. invis is a skill issue, if you can't hear the loud -blam!- *Whoosh* sound when someone dodges and goes invis you have a problem that can't be fixed by training aim or positioning.

I find it difficult to have sympathy for casual PvP players right now when based on the comments of this post everyone seems to be happy with it the way it is. Come on here and defend this meta all you want, but when you go in pvp and get zapped faster than an SMG in cod by someone coming out of invis hip firing you down in two bursts with a division sidearm or last word from 20m away, just dont forget to keep your same energy

2 RepliesDying out in the open to a fusion? Bot movement much? Sad! How long you been playing? Meta’s come and go. Hand cannon user? What the difference between three taps, and three pulses? Both use three inputs! Glad I never have a problem with the current state of crucible. I use what weapons I want when I want. I do not really care my KD is perpetually under 1.0. I play for fun, when I am not having fun I stop.

1 ReplyAs a Titan main I get invisibility every now and again through Hunters on my team and I've ran straight at people who clearly haven't seen me 🤣 Able to kill them no problem. So. Imagine having that ability all the time geez🤣 Never mind being able to disengage from a gunfight you are losing simply by back flipping out the way, then leave a clone and drop a smoke bomb then go invisible again 🤣

A shotgun that performs far beyond any reasonable effective range for a shotgun in D2. Interesting. You also complain about bxr/estoc, while using...a bxr. [b][i] Interesting [/i][/b]. Yeah it must take a ton of skill to run in a straight line/slide around corners with a shotgun. Ope, you missed the free headshot? No biggie, just panic melee until you get the kill. [b][i] It's big brain time [/i][/b] Hypocrisy is at an all time high these days.

2 RepliesJust go play a pvp game with a dedicated dev team. Idk why you guys post here week after week when you know bungie does not care about destiny 2 pvp. They literally told all of us, including the pve people, that they spent the last 6 years making an extraction shooter that nobody wanted instead of pouring resources into this game.

That's literally why it's the meta. The definiton of "meta" is "weapons, abilities, armor, etc. that a lot of people use because it's either really powerful, easy to use, or both." Congratulations on defining the term.

At this point just put it on and fight fire with fire. It's hilarious how free a lot of kills are when you are invisible and have crazy hipfire accuracy with last word. Abuse the cheese until it gets nerfed.
