I completely agree—Bungie should remove all movement tech like Well skating, Shatter skating, Sparrow flying, and Slipstreaming. These mechanics create an uneven playing field, especially in a game that emphasizes balance and accessibility. When only a select group of players can perform advanced movement tricks, it creates a divide between casual and skilled players, leading to frustration and alienation. I’ve tried to replicate some of these techniques myself after seeing others zoom past in patrol or dungeons, and it's both discouraging and immersion-breaking when you can’t keep up just because you haven’t mastered an unintended mechanic. Destiny should be about skill with the tools provided—not exploiting glitches to gain speed or mobility advantages.
