Name Change Issues
Mental Health Troubles...
I recently changed my name, due to some personal issues with the community and after recovering from some mental health stuff i wanted to change my name to something more appropriate for me (a name that matches my other platform names. i understand the policey on name changes and i was even willing to unlink my accounts and wait 90 days to rename myself something that fits me and i enjoy seeing. the recent changes to account linking has blocked me from doing so and i now dont have the option to wait the time and make a new account. it may sounds extreme for some but a part of my mental health issue (what i am diagnosed with) is a constant struggle with identity and reinventing. not to drag it on and on but i just dont know how to combat this now. if anyone knows a possible way to change my name i would love to hear it, any help with this is greatly appreciated. I feel, mental health aside, someopne with thousands of hours on the game shouldnt have an issue with a name...

3 RepliesBungie don't offer tokens on request. If you have used all 3 changes, then you're unfortunately stuck waiting. If you haven't used all 3 but it says you have none left, then you've likely been hit by the token bug. No ETA on when that'll be fixed. If it says 'you can only change your name once' but won't save, then you have a token but you're hitting the filter and need to use something else. Final thing is if you'd be happy with just 'Guardian####' then fill in a [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024632-Contact-Form-Data-Privacy-Requests]Privacy Request[/url]. You do not get to pick your own name via this method, you only get changed to Guardian####.
