Worst grind of my life
The ascendant 0 emblem grind was probably one of the most unfun experiences in the game I've ever had. It took so long to drop. The drop rate should be double of what it is right now.
One can only play in a lobby of 6 invis RDM hunters (with zealots and LW, Redrix's, or Crimil's) for so long before going insane.

Good, it's a pursuit. One of the few still left in the game. Now saying that.. I'll probably never get it. It's already a challenge getting comp games on my region! xD

The Opening quest / triumph just paid out a few regular strange coins?! The colouring on the page suggested an exotic reward for the upcoming 9 episode…At least, to me it did. All that grind for 2x tokens and a blue…🤬 Pure BHQ BS ❌❌❌ That is all. SMH 🙄

It's not worth doing anything serious related to PvP while this meta is dominant.

Match making is not allowing players to get the emblem. I gave up back when the emblems launched. I am not putting myself through all of that.

I’m glad the grind it over for you man. I got mine around 11k a while ago but that’s after constantly win/losing games between 10k and 11k. At least you don’t have to regrind a new zero emblem next season.

Try getting 500 void crucible kills(death erases progress) with a Hunter that only had acess to Arc/Solar abilities Then you will know the definition of pain! -
Edited by Cheat: 4/22/2025 1:05:32 PMIf I didn't enjoy playing 3v3 I would absolutely stop grinding for it (and by grind I mean aim for 5-10 points a day haha). This season is the first time I've had to turn off my team chat and Xbox chat requests, though. People are completely unhinged when they are losing; that's about my only real pain point with the emblem. Edit: I recognize you! Gosh, that PvP player pool is super small I guess that's crazy.

I was going for it too. Got to ascendent and OMG it was absolutely the worst experience ive ever had in all the years playing destiny. I refuse to run hunter so im back in adept and ill be even more happy when im down to plat or gold

Edited by Oogyman: 4/21/2025 8:25:11 PMI still maintain that all drop rates through the entire game should be double what they currently are. There's a grind, and then there's Bungie. Grinding is ok. I love a reasonable grind, but Bungie fails in this endeavor. They need to be much more competent as a whole, understand their playerbase, and actively try to rectify all their awful mistakes. Maybe they need to look at the past and find where player engagement levels were highest, and revert whatever possible, back to that time and see what happens. Even individually; like, what were the best days of Strikes? What were the best days of Crucible, Gambit, Raids, Dungeons, all that stuff? The numbers will vary between activities.
