It's been roughly two months since I posted the first discussion on glaives post rework. I've come back to make a second post because a video has been created detailing how glaives feel bad to use since the projectile rework.
Our observations remain the same as two months ago in testing. The changes to the projectile and cone/aim assist feel bad/frustrating to use in PvP, especially close to mid-range (20 meters of yourself) on both inputs. The changes to the AA cone and the added jotunn-like projectile tracking cause registration issues where the projectile curves around a target or veers off course, hitting the environment, sometimes even tagging the target for no damage at all.
To combat projectile consistency issues, try lowering your range and swapping Impulse Amp for a different perk; this gives the AA cone and projectile time to work its magic. Swapping these stats and perks helps with the buggy projectiles, but consistency issues do persist.
Now it isn't all bad:
Positives
Buffs to Handling, Magazine size, and Projectile Velocity are very welcome. Interestingly, Vexcalibur feels very good to use now.
Negatives:
Projectile tracking still feels out of place and has brought on new issues in consistency.
Have a good one Guardians!
