Why didn’t I see it sooner?!
The Dreadnaught is covered in tentacles… Xur (a Nine creation/creature/thing) has tentacles on his face… The new Taken god was bound to be one of the Nine if not the one that created Xur specifically.

1 ReplyMakes sense the nine are smart enough old enough and strong enough to control the taken. The list of who could be the taken God really isn't that big.
