Hey there. Just to confirm, are you able to enter a new name, but the name is not being saved? Or are you unable to enter a new name at all? If it's the former, that means the name you are trying to use is hitting the name filter. When you first create an account, your Bungie Name gets set as the platform name of the account you logged in with. If this name hits the name filter, which looks like it is the case, then you get a default 'Guardian' name instead. Because your platform name has already been rejected, it'll get rejected if you manually try to change your name to it. You'd have to try something else. If instead, you can't change your name at all (you can't even enter a new one into the name box), we all should have three name changes, but Bungie are investigating reports of name changes going missing. So that is likely what you saw and is a slightly different issue to the above.
